SUMMARY OF OPERATIONS MANAGER:
National Food Manufacturing company in Covington, KY is offering a Career Opportunity to an experienced Operations Manager with the ability to carry out the essential duties of this position. This position includes, but is not limited to, the responsibilities and qualifications indicated in this posting.


REQUIREMENTS OF OPERATIONS MANAGER:
• B.S. degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years food manufacturing experience and leadership experience.
• Technology skills must be proficient or above.
• Effective written and verbal communications skills, interpersonal and time management skills required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills required.
• Effective team player capable of working with very diverse workforce.
• Demonstrated abilities to multi-task and handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to supervise and train employees in safe work and food handling practices.
• Ability to understand and interpret production orders.
• Ability to complete forms and maintain daily required production documentation.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF OPERATIONS MANAGER:
• Schedule staffing to meet labor plans, targets and ensure on-time production.
• Work with other departments to ensure raw product and quality specifications are met.
• Ensure employees are following GMP’s at all times.
• Ensure all equipment and supplies needed for production are available for employees.
• Facilitates development of employees through coaching, leading and training.
• Initiates counseling / corrective action for disciplinary issues.
• Ensures safety standards are complied with and employees work in a safe manner.
• Work with Shipping, Receiving and Quality teams to ensure that product specifications meet customer needs while matching manufacturing capability.
• Ensures customer requirements are met and GMP’s are followed.
• Coordinates production maintenance requirements.
• Develop the production schedule to ensure it provides optimum, efficient use of raw materials, equipment, and personnel.
• Manage core training and certification processes.
• Demonstrate fiscal responsibility in the management of all labor costs.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by Manager.


SCHEDULE & PAY RATE OF OPERATIONS MANAGER:
• 5:00 pm till End of Production
• $80,000 / Year
