SUMMARY OF Corporate Accounting Manager :
Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas relating to corporate accounting functions and financial reporting. This position will be responsible for routine accounting tasks and activities and is heavily relied upon for the daily
accounting operations of the organization. The Corporate Accounting Manager is also expected to make recommendations to the CFO for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Must adhere to stringent deadlines and perform a multitude of accounting activities.
REQUIREMENTS OF Corporate Accounting Manager:
Key Competencies, Skills, Qualifications, Knowledge and/or Experience:
• Minimum of 2+ years experience Accounting procedures
• Bilingual (English /Spanish) preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational and Information management skills
• Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
• Stress tolerance and Sense of urgency
• Knowledge of office administration and bookkeeping and Knowledge of accounting procedures.
• Confidentiality concerning financial, client and employee files.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications to include but not limited to:
• Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Express, Internet Explorer, etc.
• Must display a professional approach to communication and teamwork.
• Must be detail oriented, possess organizational skills. Must have great follow up skills
RESPONSIBILITIES OF Corporate Accounting Manager:
• Lead cross-functional accounting projects; define, implement, and maintain processes and procedures to support Force Staffing Services governance requirements while balancing specific needs.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all financial accounting across the organization
• Assist in the management of financial budgeting and forecasting processes
• Interface with departments to verify transactions, research accounting issues
• Advise staff regarding the handling of non-routine accounting transactions
• Respond to inquiries from CFO as well as senior management regarding financial results and special reporting requests
• Guide the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department; provide training to new and existing staff as needed
• Work with direct report to establish performance goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff
SCHEDULE & PAY RATE:
• Full-Time
• Monday thru Friday
• 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Starting yearly pay $40k to $50
