Production Supervisor
** Full-time position with health benefits**

SUMMARY OF PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR:
Production Supervisor needed to work out of a telecommunication company in Clifton, NJ. The Associate will be responsible to supervise the employees throughout the facility while ensuring that both daily and short-term objectives are met. They assist in planning and organizing a department so that efficiency and quality goals are achieved every day. In addition, Production Supervisors train, coach and monitor employee performance to ensure KPI's are consistently met.

REQUIREMENTS OF PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR:
• High School degree/GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) with good oral and written communication skills
• Minimum 2-3 years supervisory experience in a production/processing/packing/assembly environment
• Windows and Excel skills preferred
• Capable of standing and walking for prolonged periods of time and able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds


RESPONSIBILITIES OF PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR:
• Monitor team members during production activities to ensure adherence to processes and safety procedures
• Train, motivate and coach employees to meet or exceed production goals while maintaining high quality standards
• Inspect in-process and finished products to ensure quality throughout the entire process
• Conduct observations, perform evaluations and provide records of employee performance
• Conduct team meetings to update employees on best practices, continuing expectations and communicates concerns and policies among management and employees
• Provide encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks
• Ensure that work materials and supplies are present when needed
• Enforce safety guidelines, cleanliness and security standards
• Promote and be the example for adhering to company policies and procedures
• Immediately escalate performance issues and violations of company policies and procedure to Sr Management
• Take on additional duties as assigned by leadership


SCHEDULE & PAY RATE OF PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR:
• 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
• $50,000 / year
