Senior Production Manager
SUMMARY OF SENIOR PRODUCTION MANAGER:
Senior Production Manager needed to work out of a telecommunication company in Clifton, NJ. The Associate will be responsible to supervised the employees throughout the facility.

The client is an e-commerce company specializing in reverse logistics and technology and have a leading presence in the wireless device space. There core business revolves around mobile device service and global distribution. Due to their unprecedented growth we are looking for a dedicated, motivated, and responsible Senior Production Supervisor who will make positive contributions in support of our continued growth and success.

The incumbent will develop, support and manage all scheduling functions for multiple projects / production runs; assess, develop and implement scheduling methodology according to corporate procedures; adjust production schedules and staffing assignments / levels based on evolving priorities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops thorough understanding of current operating environment and documents existing conditions
• Plans, coordinates and establishes cooperation and communication between several departments in order to set production schedules and meet production deadlines.
• Monitors and tracks material inventories, production progress, and other factors that affect schedules.
• Modifies and adapts production schedules and issues order changes to accommodate revisions, cancellations, or priorities.
• Interfaces with all appropriate departments and Management in schedule creation, progress updates, problem analysis, and corrective action recommendations.
• Prepares all required reports, paperwork, and correspondence to ensure production runs are monitored, completed on schedule and meet expected quality.
• Promotes quality in every aspect and stage of production and establishes necessary QC patterns to minimize errors.
• Focuses on tracking several projects, generates progress reports and provides constant feedback to both front line Supervision and Senior Management.
• Maintains knowledge of department capacities and develops solutions for safe and efficient utilization of labor.
• Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent, three to five years related experience, or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in using a PC with emphasis on Microsoft Excel (formulas, functions, etc.)
• Exceptional ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
• 5 years experience production planning and scheduling
• 5 years experience supervising production/line outputs and volume
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (Spanish a Plus)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Ability to operate equipment, read technical information, and use a PC
• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop or kneel
• Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 40 lbs
