Graphics Technician
SUMMARY FOR GRAPHICS TECHNICIAN:
Global event marketing company has an excellent opportunity in Atlanta, GA area for Graphic Technician.


REQUIREMENTS FOR GRAPHICS TECHNICIAN:
• Three (3) years experience in Graphics production, including two (2) years computer design experience or equivalent combination thereof as shown in a portfolio.
• Mandatory experience (three years) using Adobe Illustrator.
• High School diploma; prefer two (2) years college.
• Computer knowledge and experience in PC and Macintosh platforms including Microsoft Office products.
• Demonstrated proficiency with verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to read details and floor plans, must have mathematical proficiency (fractions, decimals).
• Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF GRAPHICS TECHNICIAN:
• Prepares and produces digital files using state-of-the-art desktop publishing tools to design, edit, and proof documents, which will be used for reproduction on large format digital printers.
• Production work ranges from laying out simple text documents, to the modification of complex existing customer artwork or internally supplied artwork, to designing custom graphics based on internal/external customer direction.
• Periodically, graphic design is produced from customers’ ideas and requirements.


SCHEDULE & PAY RATE OF GRAPHICS TECHNICIAN:
• Monday - Friday
• 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
• $16.00 / hour
