POSITION SUMMARY
Line leader oversees the manufacturing activities within their department. This job takes place in a production facility. Undertake a combination of physical and mental work that ranges from filing reports to managing production assembly lines and helping the team complete orders.
TEAM LEADER REQUIREMENTS:
• Great motivator and clear communicator who can handily troubleshoot issues as they come up.
• Must motivate their team and show support and guidance when necessary, so strong leadership skills are key to this job
• Teamwork – working well as part of a team is critical, as Team Leader oversees colleagues and manage own schedule. Assisting others and offering advice or guidance.
• Good communication skills
• Time management
• Problem-solving skills – when issues with production arise, think quickly and proactively to resolve them as soon as possible.
TEAM LEADER RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead the team's problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
• Facilitate Team meetings and attend Quality /Production meetings, team Leader Meeting, etc.
• Conduct Job-Instruction-Training.
• Work with all levels of Joint Leadership.
• Complete paperwork and any associated administrative tasks related to the production line, from updating records to show what’s been completed to noting any issues.
• Assign tasks based on what orders have come in and which members of the team are working on each day. Set up the production line to complete these orders efficiently.
• If there are any issues with production or fulfilling orders on time, quickly identify these problems and find ways to resolve them so that deadlines are still met without compromising quality.
• Ensures that all members of the team follow company policies and that healthy and safety regulations are being enforced to meet safety compliance.
SCHEDULE & PAY RATE:
• 3:30 pm to 11:51 pm
• $14/hr
